Each year, the return of one of Paris' most popular events and one that's enjoyed by over half a million visitors is eagerly awaited. The Salon de l'agriculture offers everything from artisanal product tastings to various general competitions, cutting-edge conferences on agricultural techniques and the chance to see superb farm animals, it's as if the entire rural world has been invited to Paris. A great show that you won't want to miss.
Organise your visit to the Agricultural Show
This year, the agricultural world's leading event will take place each day from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. between February 23 and March 3. As always, the Salon takes over the halls of Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles. The Vice Versa hotel is located less than 500 meters from the site, so you won't event need public transport to get there! Remember to set out early and avoid rush hours if you want to get ahead of the queue and make the most of your visit.
The magic of the Salon de l’Agriculture
Gourmands, curious bystanders or passionate, professionals, everyone has at least one good reason to visit the Salon de l'agriculture. This year, the show chose to take a look at the roles played by humans in agriculture: "Women, men, talents". Ecosystems, social impact, know-how, creativity- every aspect of agricultural life will be studied and dissected. Of course, there are also milking parlours, the presentation of the bovine star of the show, spaces dedicated to products from the French terroirs and beyond, farming workshops for children, a section dedicated to training and employment and so many more.
