When we talk about chocolate, we are usually thinking only of the well-known cocoa bean derivatives that delight young and old alike. Yet, in addition to providing sensations unique to the palate, this tasty preparation can serve as a stepping stone to a certain artistic sensibility. Of course, there are already the many forms that we know and love, including dark chocolate, white chocolate, and many others. But there are also variants of chocolate creativity that are far from being well-known, and these are the ones that allow pastry chefs to display the full scope of their imagination.
The Salon du Chocolat; pâtissière encounters and chocaholic heaven
Scheduled to take place from October 28th to November 1st, 2017, at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, the Salon du Chocolat trade fair will welcome more than 500 participants from 60 countries. You’ll have the opportunity to try new chocolate recipes. Then, if you’ve always dreamed of devouring a dress, swallowing a car, or even chewing a house, you will be given the chance to do so. Watch as pâtissiers pit their knowledge and experience against one another to create the most original and delicious chocolate and pastry creations imaginable. This indulgent, decadent and somewhat sinful trade fair is an absolute must for the sensual aesthete.
