The Nautic boat show – a not to be missed event for all ages

One of the most important international events of its kind, the Nautic international boat show takes place from 6th to 14th December 2014 at Paris Portes de Versailles. A must for boating enthusiasts and anyone who simply enjoys a great exhibition, Nautic has much to appeal to all age groups. The annual Nautic boat show is an exceptional showcase for boats and sea going craft, and over 785 exhibitors and 1,300 brands will be represented over the course of the event. The sight of over 1,200 boats gathered in the exhibition hall is spectacular, and you’ll be able to see some of the most famous classic brands alongside at least 200 new models which will make their debut at Nautic this December.
An exceptional show that offers a unique insight into the world of sailing
There really is something to appeal to the whole family at Nautic, and whether you’re an avid sailor or an interested visitor you’re certain to enjoy exploring the various sections of the exhibition. You’ll find Sailing and Tourism in Pavilion 1, and it’s the perfect place to get ideas for holidays and breaks. Take a look at some of the most exciting waterways and oceans in the world as you explore boating in areas such as Croatia or Corsica, Brittany or as far as Polynesia. The French coastline will be a major focus, and events such as the Lorient section of the Volvo Motor Race and the Brest Maritime Festival will be featured.
Nautic is also the perfect place to shop for boating equipment and everything from anchors and sails to the latest state of the art navigation equipment is available in Pavilion 2.1. However, the most thrilling part of Nautic is undoubtedly the boats. Every type of water going craft is represented and you’ll see over 350 motorboats and over 300 assorted small craft including kayaks, canoes and windsurfing boards.
