Paris Burlesque Festival will be held October 18th through the 21st 2012 at the Bellevilloise, in the 20th district. In all of its oddities, the Fête de la Mort (Festival of Death) is the main source of inspiration for the 4th edition of this festival.

Paris Burlesque Festival will be the opportunity to admire the works of around 60 artists centered on the portrayal of “death”. For this year’s edition, the organizers are also focusing on the art of seduction in the universe of burlesque through a variety of workshops. The “master classes” of stage makeup, striptease, dance, and hairstyle are offered all weeklong. This is an opportunity for women to discover the pin-up girl within them all.

Paris Burlesque Festival is an event that grants a seat of honor to music. Friday night the public will swing to the rhythms of jazz. On the ballot the following day are performances by amateurs of punk’n roll. As with previous years, there will also be a Miss Paris Burlesque Festival competition.
